Information Technology, Cognitive Science and Innovation for Development Expertise
Cevito Wilson is a highly qualified professional with expertise in both information technology and international development. He holds an MA in Events and Conference Management and an MSc in Business Information Technology from Northumbria University of Newcastle (UK) . He is a PhD Researcher in Information Technology at Jyvaskyla University of Finland. With extensive experience as a university lecturer and as the National ICT Coordinator for SOS Children's Villages Togo, he has led and contributed to impactful ICT projects, including prepaid electricity solutions in Mali with the World Bank and a security system for Ivorian refugees in Togo with UNHCR.
As a published author, Cevito has written six academic publications, a book chapter, and the book Avoid Poverty: A Sustainable Development Solution Through ICT. His work has been recognized by institutions such as the Global Journals (USA) and the Social Sciences Research Council (SSRC, USA). He is currently under contract with Johns Hopkins University Press for his second book on digital health in Africa and serves on the Editorial Board of ACTA Scientific.
